ABOUT

Very Mush Alike is a platformer about mushrooms, individuality and teamwork. This is our entry for the Indie Spain Jam 2023, themed "The Night Falls" (ESP: "Cae la noche"). It was chosen as one of the 25 finalists, out of 178 entries.

CHARACTERS

Ami 

A tiny amanita muscaria.

Called a freak for making its white spots glow, which attracts fungi’s deadliest predator: the snail.

Tired of the finger-pointing, Ami makes its escape tonight…

Cepi

A giant boletus edulis, or cep. 

Pushed away for being too big and slow, which makes it an easy prey for hunters.

Afraid of dying alone, Cepi leaves home tonight…

Chanti

A clumsy chanterelle.

Ridiculed for its bouncy head and poor athleticism, which overshadowed its other unique habilities.

Confused about its existence, Chanti goes on the run tonight…
